The test takes approximately 3 hours to complete and it is approved by IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) for PR (permanent residency)

There are two types of this Test.

Getting Score in this test is not that difficult as compared to other exams. The biggest advantage is the score you will get is out of 12 not out of 9. The modules remain the same (Reading,Speaking,Writing and Listening) and every module has sub-division.

Comments

  1. Can you explain how your points lead to the conclusion that CELPIP is easier? You explain some differences but don't have reasonable arguments that show why it is MUCH EASIER than IELTS. I am a native English teacher who has taught IELTS exam prep since 2007 and CELPIP exam prep since 2018. Both have their strengths and weaknesses but if you follow several CELPIP Facebook groups where hundreds of students have taken CELPIP and some of them have also taken IELTS, they are not finding that CELPIP is MUCH EASIER. It has some sections that are easier but IELTS has other sections that are easier. It depends more on the student and the time that they have taken to prepare for either exam. Can you provide more solid evidence that leads you to the conclusion that CELPIP is MUCH EASIER. Thanks, Trevor Pfahl
